A Prayer for the youth

Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I want to thank You for Your goodness, grace, and mercy. I ask that You forgive me of all my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

I lift the youth of our nation before You. You said to remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh when thou shalt say, “I have no pleasure in them.” You also said You will pour out Your Spirit upon all flesh, and our sons and our daughters shall prophesy, our old men shall dream dreams, our young men shall see visions. I decree and declare today that You will give the youth of our nation a hunger and thirst for righteousness.

Order their steps in Your word. Your word will be a lamp unto their feet and a light unto their path.

I decree and declare that the plans and purposes You have for their lives will be fulfilled. I bind and rebuke destiny destroyers, progress arrestors, and untimely death from over their lives in the name of Jesus.

I decree and declare they will have hope and peace in You, O Lord, and I rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, stress, frustration, depression, and suicide in the name of Jesus. May they not be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let their requests be made known to God.

I decree and declare they will be excellent, bold, strong, courageous, and wise. They will have a spirit of humility and servitude.

I release Joseph anointing, Joshua anointing, Jehu anointing, Daniel anointing, and Davidic anointing over their lives in the name of Jesus.

I decree and declare they will heed their father’s instruction and forsake not their mother’s teaching. They will bring their parents joy and not sorrow.

Let parents pray daily and cover their children without ceasing.

Lord, I pray for those youth who don’t know You, that they will receive You into their hearts as Lord and Savior of their lives. For those who know You but have decided to take another path, I pray for a spiritual awakening.

They will return back to You, Lord, for You love them and are waiting to receive them with open arms. For those who are daily walking with You, I pray that they will not let anyone despise their youth but be an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Father, bless and keep them and baptize them afresh with Your Holy Spirit and fire in Jesus’s name.

Father, You have all the answers to the world today! I want to thank You and praise You for answering these prayers and for everything You are going to do in the lives of the youth of our nation in Jesus’s name. Amen.
