Be Strong and Fearless

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity but of power, love, and self-discipline.” – 2 Timothy 1:7

There are two types of fear:

  • The fear of God, which is to reverence, God.
  • The fear that prevents you from doing what God has called you to do. This fear is a powerful force that can cripple you mentally, physically, and spiritually.

God wants us, as citizens of His kingdom, to fulfill our purpose on earth, and we can’t do that if we operate in a spirit of fear. Instead, He wants us to trust in His word and walk in faith, replacing fear with faith.

Reflect on the times when you were afraid of something or a situation, and when you decided to take a leap of faith, it turned out great for you, building your confidence.

Fear keeps us in our comfort zone because of the fear of the unknown. If you want to see changes in your life, you have to overcome fear. That is the only way to live your best life ever.

You see, the spirit of fear will keep you in bondage, while faith will set you free to operate in the power of God, love others, and be self-disciplined.

As you begin this new year, do not let fear stop you from doing what God has called you to do. Step out in faith and boldness, trusting in God’s word.

“For God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” – Numbers 23:19

Be blessed.
