As you go through this new year, I would like to encourage you to let God’s word be your guide.

The psalmist David wrote in Psalms 1:2-3
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law, he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
God commissioned Joshua in Joshua 1:8
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[c shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Conclusion
As you go through this new year, I would like to encourage you to let God’s word be your guide.
By walking in obedience to God’s word – reading it, speaking it, and living it – your ways will prosper, and you will have good success. These are the two main benefits of studying God’s word.
My prayer today is that the word of God will be a lamp unto your feet and a light to your path. May your steps be ordered by God’s word as you go through this year.
Be blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus.
