Scripture: Matthew 7:7 – 8
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
God has given you a clear invitation: Ask, seek, and knock.
However, it all starts with you taking the action of praying to Him.
Just imagine wealthy and powerful friends giving you direct access to their resources. Would you sit on the sidelines and not take them up on the opportunity they have provided for you?
God is a generous and loving father toward His children and delights in meeting their needs.
You see, asking not only involves stating your desires but also living a righteous and holy life before God. Therefore, when you ask, it will be according to His will.
Seeking goes beyond asking; it is a deliberate effort to align yourself more intimately with God. This positions you to dwell in His presence while learning His voice, love, and purpose for your life.
Knocking symbolizes your discipline, persistence, and consistency until you get a breakthrough. Sometimes, answers to our prayers may not come immediately, but the act of knocking can bring your breakthrough.
Today, develop a culture of prayer.
Ask with humility and faith. Seek His presence and knock until you get a breakthrough since God has already assured you that He will answer you.
