“Tiki Davis, a self-made millionaire, was falsely accused of a crime and served time for it, fighting against the injustice for years. Despite achieving great success, he always prayed for God to clear his name.

His journey began in childhood with an absentee father and a drug-addicted mother, he had to fend for himself from an early age, even living on the streets by twelve. However, his hope of being a footballer boosted his self-esteem.

His life took a turn when a teacher arranged for him to enter a boys’ home, marking the first time he had a stable place to live. When he reached high school, He lived with a caring foster family. He earned good grades and became a candidate for a football scholarship.

Then, during his senior year, a girl falsely accused him of rape, shattering his dreams of becoming a football player. Despite insufficient evidence, his lawyer advised him to plead guilty to a lesser charge. Consequently, he served six months in county jail for a crime he didn’t commit, causing his aspirations for college and a successful career to fade.

In jail, he devoted his life to God, finding inspiration in biblical stories and believing that if God helped David, He could do the same for him.

After his release, he completed high school and worked washing cars at a dealership. Two years later, Texas law changed, requiring him to register as a sex offender, a label not part of his original plea deal. He prayed daily for God to remove this burden from his life.

He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees and ventured into the oil and gas industry, eventually starting his energy consulting firm. By the age of thirty-five, he was a millionaire and a respected figure in the community, yet still carried the stigma of being a sex offender due to the court’s refusal to clear his name.

While his lawyer worked on his case, Tiki continued to trust in God’s justice, hoping to be removed from the sex offender registry.

Unexpectedly, his accuser contacted him and told him she wanted to help him for fifteen years. She expressed her regret for her actions and apologized. Tiki forgave her and urged her to inform the lawyers about his innocence.

On May 17, 2018, he stood before a judge once more and was finally freed. His name was removed from the sex registry, bringing him to tears.

Today, Tiki is an award-winning entrepreneur, successful businessman, and motivational speaker. He attributes his triumph over his trials and his escape from a traumatic past to his unwavering faith in God. He believes it was God who carried him through it all.”
